Reflection Friday: Wilderness

Reflection Friday: Wilderness

The song I shared on Wednesday has been a holy earworm for me all week.  I can hardly contain myself when I think of the line, “He called my name, and I ran outta that grave!”
1st thing–He knows my name!  He knows your name!  He is so in love with you.
2nd thing–I imagine Lazarus, being dead, in darkness, a definite wilderness, hearing the Savior call his name at the mouth of his grave and his body responding.
He ran, y’all!
He.  Ran.
Don’t lose hope.
Don’t give up on yourself.
Don’t give up on Christ.
The wilderness is not a death sentence.
If anything it is an opportunity for growth.
If you allow it to be.
What was your biggest takeaway this week?
Did God speak anything to you?

and banjo player, mother of 4, wife of 1, follower of Christ,
walking in the shadow of the Proverbs 31 woman
and redeemed by the grace and love of an Almighty God…
just living the dream.
