Short and sweet

Short and sweet

I love when I get the notification on Facebook, “You have memories with Joe Blow and 16 other people today!”
Here was one of today’s “memories”

So four years ago I felt the same sadness for our country yet the same expectant hope in Christ.
Tomorrow morning, regardless of who is elected, I know I’ll feel the same.
My hope has never been in a man…
Not my president.
Not my husband.
Not my son.
Not my dad.
Not my boss.
Only my Savior.
I’ve heard so many arguments these past few months…
…vote your conscious, not your preference.
…vote for the platform, not the person.
…Presidents are limited, Justices are a lifetime.
Presidents are for four maybe eight years.
Justices are lifetime appointments.
I have no fear about who I will wake up to tomorrow morning, not because I want one to win over the other.
But because I serve Someone who has no term limit and who’s Kingdom is set up for FOREVER.
Let this song minister to you, especially when you fear about ANY area concerning your future.

I’m a book-shelving, former tap dancer, wanna be writer, singer,
and banjo player, mother of 4, wife of 1, follower of Christ,
walking in the shadow of the Proverbs 31 woman
and redeemed by the grace and love of an Almighty God…
just living the dream.
