There’s a skinny runner hidden in me…

…and apparently I’ve eaten her.  BUT I’m on track to dig her out and set her free.  No, seriously I haven’t eaten anyone, but I am convinced that in this new season of my life I am striving to be something i’ve never been before: a runner.  I have so many friends on Facebook who have never been runners before and in their late 30’s to mid 40’s have embarked on a new found hobby of running.  A couple of old co-workers, a cousin, someone I went to church with…all women were not runners before and now are.  I want to join that club.  Now granted, I’ve ran in a 5k and walked a couple, but that hardly grants me membership to the runner’s club.  J and I are 4 weeks into the Couch to 5k app and I’m sticking with it.  I been on Weight Watchers for about 3 weeks now and have had minimal results.  We are still doing Paleo and staying away from what most Americans eat.  I just want to do it right, you know?  I want to be healthy.  I want to live a long time.  I don’t want my bones to crumble and need replaced.  I want to be able to play with my kids, be a healthy example for my girls on a healthy body image and a healthy example for my boys in what they should see when they date girls.  
I don’t want a diet.  
I want a healthy lifestyle.  
I’m going to stick with it.
