Wonder Woman Wednesday!

I have heard that as a woman and mother I need to have someone in my life who is my “Person of Hope.”

Someone who has been there, done that and not only survived…but thrived!

This week’s Wonder Woman Wednesday is my Person of Hope…

Beth Sargent!

Beth has been in my life for over 20 years.
Our husbands are friends and accountability partners, she was a bridesmaid in my wedding and even though we don’t talk everyday, she is such an amazing influence in my life.  She and her husband Josh, along with their 3 awesome kids pastor Good Shepherd Worship Center in Louisville KY.  She also heads up Beth Sargent Fitness as a fitness coach because she, along with God’s help has lost 100 lbs!  God delivered her from the devastating cycle of food addiction and now she is able to add that to her testimony.  She has written an amazing book called “Take Charge” that can help you gain control of your health.  Losing weight did not change who she is inside though.
To know her is to love her and she has SO much love to give.  She mentors hundreds of young women, heads up ministries, and shepherds her congregation with compassion, unconditional love, and a passion to see people’s lives changed through the Good News of Christ.
She is the genuine, real deal and I am so blessed to call her my friend. When I asked Beth what she wanted people to know about her and what she wanted to be remembered for, she said, “I would want people to remember that I Love the Lord with all my heart. That I have a passion seeing people realize that God has a plan and a purpose for them. I love to encourage people and help be “Physically, spiritually and mentally fit for their God given task (Proverbs 31:17 Amplified) That you truly can do all things through Christ. I also want them to know that I love my family!”

Beth you are this week’s Wonder Woman Wednesday because I see all the wonderful things you are doing.  Not only for the things you do for your family every day, but also for the women in your congregation, and the women of Louisville and beyond.  You love BIG and God is so pleased with the work you are doing.
You are truly one of His favorites and He is crazy in love with you.
